Ohhh, excitement!!

Okay, maybe only to me, but I just noticed my blog is soon to hit 4000 views. To me, this is cool!

So to celebrate, I'm going to have a little giveaway. Anyone who adds a comment to this message will have their name put into the hat to win a copy of 'The Wind and The Sun', one of my finished works currently in submission. It's a hot little remake of the Aesop's Fable.

Sooo... to make it easier on you, you can comment by telling me which of the three types of stories you like the best:

1. Old friends becoming lovers.
2. New friends/coworkers hooking up.
3. Something else.

I'll gather together the names on Friday and draw a winner then!

Yeah for blogging!

I love reading about old friends becoming lovers. I aslo like to read about strangers meeting through a similiar friend or a function they were at.

Duh. Well that's a no brainer. Old friends becoming lovers. My fave!

And congrats on turning 4000.

BTW - can you cheat please, and just make me the winner? I REALLY want the book! said...

I am pretty impartial. It doesn't really matter to me, as long as the writing is good, and the emotions are intense. However, if the story has a paranormal spin to it, that makes it even better. Or if it is a historical.

All of the above?
BUT I do really love Friends to lovers as well.
YEAH 4000 hits
2 hits away!!!!!

Wow, the friends to lovers is winning hands down!

You guys should like Rocky Mountain Heat- Jaxi has been the girl next door forever, and finally Blake realizes she's grown up.

Oh!! I just realized that Tidal Wave has both a 'friends to lovers' and paranormal twists, so I guess I do some stories in that theme.

Elizabeth Anne, you'll have to check out Mari Carr's new release coming May 25, No Recourse. It's a time travel historical. You can link to her site from the side bar.

I like it when ex lovers meet again in the future and fall in love all over again.

Maybe old friends becoming lovers would be interesting, and maby not easy to write. Old friends most of the cases means they don't have sexual attraction but they loves being together, have a great time and trust.

Or, on of the two people (mostly the woman) loves the other, but hides it for years. This was happened with me. I even went to a point to introduce other womans for him (his first fiancée.....), because i thought that i am not enough pretty and perfect for him, and can't make him happy. You know he is a musician, intelligent, tall handsome, and a very kind guy. I didn't even understand why he spends his time with me.

After years and broke ups, i confessed my feelings. (We both had relationships, but i couldn't felt that i have a real closure.) So i confessed, and was afraid that our friendship will end. (We were best-friends since the 2nd year of highschool - FYI now i am 26.) Do you know what was his first question? "Why didn't you tell me sooner, it could be really hard for you." After that he also said that he always felt but couldn't articulate a feeling that he can't give me something what i need.

After confessing, i felt so much freedom. I was ready to start a new relationship.

Now we are still best friends, he married. I don't have a bitter aftertase or anything else. I realised that my first love wasn'T based on reality and he is not the man who can love me the way i want (we also has very different taste in sex etc), but i have a friend who is always there for me no matter what, and who i can show my most embarrasing faces, and he still be with me.

It's funny that even after this, i always believe that for a long lasting happy relationship one should be friends first and only after being freinds and know each other can develope deeper feelings.

Sorry for writing it too long. :)

Mea, what a sweet and special story, thank you for sharing.

I too think that you need to be friends first. And in some cases being lovers is far less important than being friends.

I'm happy for you that you have a forever friend like that!
